NOC Bicycle Users Group
The aim of The Bicycle USers Group (BUG) are to make it easier for people to cycle to and from the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. We hope to do this by:
- Working with the Trust to promote cycling for staff
- Providing information for patients and staff about cycle routes, cycle parking and other facilities
- Providing a channel through which cyclist's issues can be discussed with the Trust transport team and facilities manager
- Actively working to improve cycling to and from the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre
Some of the initiatives that the Trust has already started and that are keen to maintain are:
- Promoting cycle to work week
- Maintaining links with bike repair service
- Providing and promoting the use of cycle racks
- Cycle to work scheme
- New gate for safer link to route to Headington through Gardiner Street
Providing information on:
- Location and state of showers
- Local routes
- links to other cycling groups
