Research

blue running manWe work with scientists at the University of Oxford and the University of Calgary in Canada to help advance knowledge in the field of running injury biomechanics.

Current research projects include comparing muscle activity and joint motion between barefoot and shod running, and investigating the biomechanics of knee pain in runners.

We also provide opportunities for research and short-projects in running biomechanics. If you are interested in doing a research project with us then please contact run3D@noc.nhs.uk

run3D is also proud to be in partnership with a world-leader in running injury biomechanics: the Running Injury Clinic at the University of Calgary in Canada.
