Providing the best in paediatric care

We provide a comprehensive children's service in conjunction with the Oxford Children's Hospital at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust. Children under the care of our paediatric consultants who require orthopaedic surgery will have their operation and in-patient care at the Oxford Children's Hospital in dedicated facilities with 24-hour access to specialists such as paediatric anaesthetists and paediatricians.

The children's unit at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre provides extensive out-patient and rehabilitation services for children with congenital and developmental musculoskeletal conditions to patients under the age of 16.

In-patient children's services were transferred from the NOC to the Oxford Children's Hospital in 2007 following changes in national policy.
