Flexor Tendons

The patient lies supine on the couch with their ankles comfortably dorsiflexed. The transducer is placed coronally, and sagittally along the plantar surface of the foot, in the line of the tendons.

Morton's neuroma is best demonstrated by imaging in the sagittal plane, between the metatarsals.
